Members of the Henry County Community Emergency Response Team, (CERT) and the Henry County Amateur Radio Society, (HCARS), participated in the monthly test of warning sirens conducted by the Henry County EMA. The purpose of the test is to assist Henry County EMA in assessing warning siren operations.
Volunteers from CERT and HCARS stand-by and monitor siren operations during the monthly test. The results are then reported to Henry County EMA.
Sirens are tested at 9:30am, on the first Wednesday of each month, weather permitting. Learn more by visiting the Henry County EMA Facebook page.
Thanks to all of the volunteers for participating in the test.
